As many of you may have read in the blog post in June 2017 SHIP, together with Star Health, 3207 BeachPatrol, Port Phillip Eco Centre, Port Melbourne Uniting Church worked with local artists Carolyn Menzies and Carolyn Cardinet to create artworks made from rubbish collected on local beaches by students from schools including Albert Park College, Albert Park Primary School, St Kilda Primary School, Montague Continuing Education Centre, Port Melbourne Primary School.
The project was funded by the City of Port Phillip through a community strengthening grant and was then selected to have a film made about it by the grants team as part of the 'Celebrating the Community Grants Program'.
Thank you to everyone involved!
